The presence of gender-inclusive leadership, both on the board and in executive leadership teams, is associated with increased corporate social responsibility. Companies with higher female representation at the board level or in top management show higher returns on equity, higher valuations and higher dividend payout ratios. Gender equality inside corporations isn’t just a moral imperative, it’s a smart business decision.
